Winter Scout Camp

Since seven years ago im Scout, every saturday i worked with children and young peoples, help to construction to beast world. My scout group is called "Quitrahue" (bonfire place), and in the last weekend we celebrated our anniversary n° 7 in the "Winter Camp 2013".

"Winter Camp 2013"  was in Coya, in the Andean foothills, Ohiggins region. The place had a refuge, swimming pool, kitchen, and a  really spacious place for camping. This place for four days had we home.

The activities had varied, the first day children played a games battery in the morning and in the night next to bonfire they could enjoy to music and a conversation. The second day, everybody to woke up early because this day we climb an mountain, and after children chose between three workshop: Camp Culinary Workshop,  Camping Workshop or Knife Workshop. The next day we celebrate our anniversary whit "A minute for win" and an long walk  until Coya, a miner town.

I really thing that this camp was great: friendship, happiness and nature.

Selkman and photomontage

In my free time I really enjoy surfing on internet, looking for new music, movies, and photographers. Blogs seem to be a paradise, in which you can find everything you want. This weekend I discover a blog called  "Un viaje increible" (this is the link) the blog is written by Matias Callone, an Argentine adventurer that  decided  to  travel and take photos around the world. In a post he uploaded photomontages about  the Argentine Patagonia and Selkman. This week I´m going to write about this photomontage.

Photomontage is a technique of producing a composite picture by combining several photographs. In this case, historics Selkman´s  photos with new photos taken by Matias.

This photo was taken in Ushuaia, capital of Provincia de Tierra del Fuego, Antártica and Islas del Atlántico Sur in Argentina.

 In this photo you can admire the virginal twilight landscape, and a Selkman´s family in their canoe.

Matias'  photos make me think about our ancestors and their history. 

I like to imagine how life would have been in America if the Spanish conquerors hadn´t  destroyed all.

I think that this type of photomontages are necessary to make us think about the relationship between art and  memory.

A dreamer

Nowadays it has been a period of fighting among those that believe in their ideas and those who only have been searching for excuses to answer different demands. So, the power and the pacifism are in struggle to have the right. 

If i try to understand pacifism as to assume that everything that is happening is right i am just a puppet inside society without ideals! every human been has the right to ask for demands he thinks are correct, and nobody should believe that a government has to use violence against people that fight for their rights and ideas of justice.

No politician has been able to give any answer to students demands. No one has been able to think how poverty can be changed, but we had to listen to a  politician who said that you can eat whit a ridiculous amount of money.

I am a dreamer. I must say that i believe that one day we will live in a real democracy and we won´t run in order not to be caught by those who think that have the power.

My favourite piece of technology

This week im write about Tablets, my favourite piece of technology.

A Tablet is a one-piece mobile computer, usually offer touch screen, Its light and small but Tablet´s computer is very useful for daily work. 

The last year i bougth my Tablet, because i looked for a mobile system that was portable and can work in different programs in the same time. 

A Tablet is very easy use, because is frequently designed like smartphones or computers, so you don't need know nothing special for use it, you can choose for Linux´s tablet, Android´s tablet or Ipad.

Really, i use my tablet every day, because i can check my email, my social network, my favourites webs and prepare my works for university from this. 

Well, i like for different reason, first for its variables use, and for its portability.

If tablets is not invent, i not have problems, because

 i could use a net book, or smartphone.

 My tablet is practice but not indispensable. 

Gloria!

Welcome (again) to my blog, this week i speak about Gloria, a dramatic comedy that you can watch in the cinemas for this week in Santiago.

Gloria is the last film of Sebastian Lelio, winner of Silver Bear for Best Actress, in Berlin Film Festival 2013.

The film talk about Gloria (Paulina García) , an old woman, separated, and alone that decide rebuild her life, look for a man, adventures and her lost happiness. Trying to escape old age.

In the film we can watch how Gloria try to get up and how she fall, in this process we come whit Gloria, and we know her dreams and fears.  

The best of Gloria, is Paulina´s acting performance like Gloria, the catchy soundtrack and the vengeance’s scene.

Wes Anderson

hi! welcome again to my blog. Today im going to talk about Wes Anderson, he is an American film director, known for quirky movies whit failure characters, I talk about Wes because i like his movies, stories and his technical treatment.

Wes Anderson was born in Texas, USA in 1969. Eric and Mel. Anderson´s parents divorced when he was a young child. This event is crucial for understand his movies. During childhood Wes also began writing plays and making Super 8 movies. 
In the university Wes studied philosophy. It was here he met Owen Wilson. They began making short films, "Bottle Rocket" was screened at the Sundance Film Festival, in this moment Wes discovered that his carrer it was started.

Anderson´s movies are know for a similar aesthetics, mostly primary colores. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for "The Royal Tenembaums" in 2011 and "Moonrise Kingdom" in 2012.

Music and technology

The last year i listened in youtube a song of Jorge Drexler, a Uruguayan singer. I usually look for new song, and this is one, when i discovered the song i did not know nothing about song.  

This song is a musical experiment where we can choose the next lyrics. Placestore is a website where we can   download a application call "n", while the music progress you can select between different alternative of lyrics.

The name of the song is "Habitación 316(n1)", the song talks about  different stories depending on what we choose.

Jorge Drexler play ballad, folk and bossanova, he had  more that 10 albums, but my favorite is "Eco".

I like the lyrics and style this artist, the mix of styles and instrument.

Hi! my name is Patricio Esteban Pino Hernández, but you can tell me Pato. I´m 19 years old and since two years i live in Santiago. I was born in Rancagua on July 28, 1993. All my childhood I was live whit my parents and sister in my house.

We´re a four member family. Victoria is my mom, she is a English teacher and in her free time she weave sweaters and scarfs. My dad is Patricio and he is miner, he work in El Teniente. Natalia is my sister, she study in the same school that me. 

 I studied in five different schools. Since two years I arrived to Ñuñoa, Santiago, now I study Cine y Television at Universidad de Chile. And live whit two schoolmate.

I like music, movies and travel whit my friends. I play Viola in the Orquesta de Cámara de Villa María College, I play music to Mozart, Vivaldi, The Beatles and other composers in different events.

Whit my Scout Group I travelled from Valparaiso to Puerto Aysen.
